I just returned from the most DELIGHTFUL trip to San Francisco. It is such a beautiful place, and despite the weather that was just a *bit* too chilly for this southern girl, a wonderful time was had by all.While I was there, I had the chance to photograph Ryan, age 4. It took a small bribe to get him to warm up, but after that, he was full steam ahead. He threw rocks into a creek, swung from the monkey bars, showed me his soccer moves, and even tried to talk me into going to see a dead cat that he and his dad had spotted earlier in the day. (I declined on the dead cat offer:-)
I will hopefully be able to go back and enjoy San Francisco again in the near future. Even after visiting Napa, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf (and the very smelly sea lions that live there), and doing a LOT of shopping, it still seems like there is so much more to do. If you've never been, I highly recommend it!

Oh my goodness! I had to comment. Gretchen, it's me Amber. Hopefully you remember me from cbc. I found your blog on your website. I still look at it occasionally because I just love your work. I recognized this little guy and can't believe my eyes! Ryan is such a handsome little man. I hope all is well with you and your family. I'm sure your boys are just as cute as ever too!
